Myerscough wrote constantly, from the 1930’s until his death in 1984. During his lifetime he published three hardback books, wrote many articles and in later years produced a small, loose-leaf, booklet which was regularly updated and remained in publication for several years.

His major work, Age IV, which was his lifelong pursuit and the text he considered to be his serious contribution to society stayed concealed, along with his abstract paintings - both aspects of his creative output remaining unpublished and unexhibited during his lifetime.
